On this episode, I have the absolute pleasure of chatting with Mindfulness Coach and Transformational Leadership Consultant, Bonnie Kowaliuk. Bonnie and I take a DEEP dive on a variety of topics. First Bonnie shares a little bit of her own story and what drew her to mindfulness in the first place. She then shares some powerful stories of transformations that she has witnessed first hand through her mindfulness coaching practice, Sense Mindfulness Coaching. Bonnie chats a little bit about the role that music can play as a tool in helping us to access deeper states of consciousness. She then breaks the stereotype and gives us some practical ways that we ALL can practice mindfulness on a daily basis (that doesn’t involve sitting cross-legged on a mat). We then get some effective tips to stay grounded amidst all of the craziness going on in the world with the COVID-19 pandemic. And then learn why mindfulness is not solely a tool to deal with mental/emotional issues, but is a tool to MAKE US BETTER AT LIFE. Finally, Bonnie shares a little bit about the “Man Wave Movement” that she is involved in, which is aimed at addressing overarching men’s wellness issues through empowerment and giving them the tools and network to find their power.
